Né en 1985, Evan Sohun est un artiste mauricien reconnu en tant que graphiste et illustrateur. Il crée à Maurice le magazine de BD "Ticomix" (2001-04) avec une dizaine d'artistes mauriciens, puis lance l'association "Croart" qui vise à former des jeunes à la BD. Evan Sohun a été primé plusieurs fois dans la région. En cherchant à s'éloigner de tout conformisme dans la réalisation de ses personnages, Evan Sohun a su se forger un univers propre à lui. Ses compositions ont au fil du temps évolué sur la même ligne directrice : chercher, extraire et faire remonter en surface ce qu'il peut y avoir de beau dans des formes imparfaites.
