Laurent-Pierre Lecordier est une des nouvelles têtes de la scène émergente mauricienne. Il commence la musique très tôt. Il apprend à jouer de la guitare à 7 ans en regardant des vidéos sur Internet. Poussé par sa famille et ses amis, Laurent-Pierre Lecordier commence sa carrière en se produisant dans hôtels et des bars à Maurice, après son baccalauréat. Sa renommé explose lorsqu'en janvier 2016, Laurent-Pierre Lecordier participe à l'émission The Voice en France. Il intègre alors l'équipe de Florent Pagny et effectue un parcours très remarqué.
