Ancien membre du groupe Negro Pou La Vi fondé en 1996, Lin se lance vraiment dans une carrière solo en 2016 avec la sortie de son album "Mo Recompans". Un disque enregistré avec la collaboration d'Otentik Groove et la participation d'autres artistes comme Jason Heerah. En quelques jours, l'album devient un succès national et fait de Lin un artiste reconnu à Maurice. Le faiseur de tube donne de nombreux concerts à travers l'île, notamment lors du Dombeya Music Festival, et est élu The Artist 2016 par les internautes.
