Nicolas Tarik est un auteur-compositeur français né à Lyon et installé à Maurice dans la région de Grand Baie depuis 2015. Il arrive sur l’île avec un album en poche "Amour d'hiver", 5 chansons d'amour écrites à Blois. Ce chanteur à texte qualifie sa musique de « chanson chaloupée influencée par le slam ». En 2017, à 33 ans, il dévoile "Les Insomnies de Nicolas Tarik", inspiré de sa nouvelle vie mauricienne et riche de collaborations locales. Un album qu'il joue en Live avec son groupe pour la première fois pour Dreamers 3, un événement organisé par La Isla Social Club le Vendredi 3 Mars 2017. Le 24 Mars, il est programmé en Live à 20h30 durant 2 heures sur la MBC (MBC 1, MBC SAT, Radio Cool FM).
