Sa voix frissonnante et son timbre doux lui valent à l'Ile Maurice le qualificatif de "nouveau Kaya". Comme le fondateur du Seggae, Ras Ti Lang fascine et connaît un grand succès populaire dès son premier album "Evolusion" et notamment un titre - "citoyen" - qui résonnera comme un hymne. Comme Kaya il disparaît trop tôt au sommet de sa carrière à seulement 30 ans en 2004. Un an auparavant il laissera aux mauriciens un album majeur "Lédikasyon" et devient instantanément une nouvelle étoile du Seggae mauricien.
