Avneesh, né en 1984, est un artiste à deux facettes: graphiste de formation suite à ces études à Singapour, et producteur de musique électronique, son autre passion. DJ depuis l'an 2000, son style plutôt underground et éclectique, est très apprécié sur l'île. En 2006, il lance le collectif electrocaïne, entre musique et art visuel, qui réunit une bande d'amis à son image, tous passionnés de musique. Un collectif aux performances remarqués entre Maurice et l'Asie (Porlwi, Sonar Hong-Kong...). En 2017, Avneesh lance Babani Soundsystem, un projet musical Live, entre musique électronique et sonorités typiquement mauriciennes.
